Back to AZ!

It was sad saying goodbye to everyone in Washington, but it was so nice coming back to our home in Arizona! A big thank you to my mom and dad who came back with me and stayed in AZ with us for a week!! It couldn't have been better timing having the extra help around, for on the flight back here my head felt like it was going to explode I was so congested! It got worse the first day back so I went to the doctor and sure enough, I had a sinus infection and the start of an ear infection!! Ugh!! I was miserable for most of the week, so to have my parents here was a blessing!

To top it off, Brooke, who just got over the ear infections she had the week before (or so we thought!) was diagnosed with yet another one the same day I was!!! Not only that, but our doc made the executive decision to have Brooke see an ear specialist to get tubes put in her ears. The poor girl has had 7 ear infections in just 3 months! Her surgery is set for early March, so hopefully that will help her out a lot!!

It doesn't stop there though...poor Austin was diagnosed with having a hernia while up in Washington. It doesn't seem to bother him that much, only every once in a while it sticks out more than usual and that's when it hurts him. He saw a surgeon up in Seattle before we left who said he had to have surgery on it within the month. So once we got back here, we had a consult at Phoenix Children's and he is now scheduled for surgery the day before Brooke has hers!!! Crazy!! Our poor kids!!! I swear, Brian left and we all fall apart!!

So thank you mom and dad, you guys are amazing, I appreciate your help and company so much, it's always wonderful having you here, I couldn't have done it without you!!!

You would never know this one was even bothered by her ear infection, she is always so happy!! She loves being out at the park!

Austin is getting so brave and so much stronger, he is climbing and doing things at the park he couldn't or wouldn't do only a few months ago! He is sure growing up!
