Back in February, we took a trip up to Washington to spend a week with our family there! Austin and Brooke had so much fun playing with all their cousins (Tyler, Quin & Olivia!), and seeing their Grandma & Pop-Pop and Aunts & Uncles (Gary & Kirsten and Wes & Marie!) it made us wish we lived a whole lot closer!! It basically snowed (a lot!) the whole time we were there too, so not only were the kids so excited to be with their cousins, but they LOVED playing in all the snow!! When we weren't outside in the snow building snowmen, having snowball fights, sledding, and snow-tubing in the mountains, we were off at the aquarium, exploring downtown Seattle, watching basketball practices, and just hanging out, playing and having fun!!! It was a jammed pack week but we wouldn't have it any other way, we just love going up there and spending time with our family!

(Funny story...Brooke suckered me into buying her this pink seal from the aquarium this day...I SO didn't want to spend the 19$ it cost, but she threw an absolute tantrum when I put it back on the shelf, tears and all, so of course I gave in and bought it for her...let's just say it was worth every penny, she has slept with this thing each and every darn night since this picture was taken, and even brought it to Japan with us! She calls it "baby seal" and knows when it's missing from her crib at night! This girl sure knows what she wants! At least we are getting are money's worth out of it!)

Awesome...totally breaking out the old school snowsuits from when my brother's and I were little!! Brooke and Austin totally rocked them in the snow! Brooke didn't mind being so bundled up, she just refused to wear anything on her hands, yet absolutely hated the fact that they were cold...we couldn't win, she was miserable without gloves, but wouldn't wear them! This girl!!
