Brooke at 3 months...

Dear Brooke,

It is so hard to believe you are 3 months old already!! You have done so much this past month, you have been one busy little girl!! The biggest thing you did this month was that you went on your first plane trip, which required you to use your passport for the very first time too!! You did so incredibly good, I was so proud of you!

You love being in Japan with your Daddy and have become quite the baseball fan...you went to your very first baseball game here and like your brother, you love them! You sit in my lap so good, usually taking a little nap in the middle of the game and always waking up when they let out all those crazy balloons during the 7th inning!!

You have become quite the talker, you love to have conversations with us!! You love it when we talk to you too, and you just light up when we say the words: "La-La, Da-Da, and Mom-Ma!" You have the biggest smile, it's the best watching you wake up in the morning because you are all grins and always wake up so happy!! Just recently you started sticking your tongue out when you smile too, it's pretty funny! You also love being tickled!! You squeal and laugh so hard, it's the cutest noises!!

You are a great sleeper, you still love to be swaddled and you usually wake up only once to eat after about 6-8 hours and then you go back to bed (usually with your daddy, while your brother and I play out in the main part of the apartment!) for another few hours! You aren't really on a "nap schedule" yet, but you are starting to show some patterns. You like to take a nap about 2 hours after you get up, and most days you also take a nap when your brother does too!! I love this time, for every once in a while I will lay down with you and we will cuddle, just you and me time ;)

You are still a great eater too, and although we haven't weighed you since you were 6 weeks old, we can tell you are growing plenty by how fast you grow out of your clothes and diapers!! You have discovered your hands and love to suck/chew on them, usually both at the same time!! I swear you are teething, you are drooling a ton and always chomping on your fingers!! I wouldn't be surprised if a tooth or two make their way out soon!

You still don't love tummy time, but would rather be sitting up facing out to the world!! I think you are ready for your bumbo seat, it would be the perfect thing for you so you can look all around and talk away ;) You are great in your car seat, much unlike your brother at this age who didn't like it much at all!! Maybe it's because he is back there with you so you have someone to keep you company ;)

You still don't like getting out of your baths, it's about the only thing that gets you upset!! You must just love the water!! You also don't like being left out of things, we have to bring you over to the dinner table when we are all eating together otherwise you throw a fit ;) You mostly like staring at your brother and watching his every move, you are fascinated by him and smile at him constantly!! It's really cute!!

You are just a very happy baby Brooke and love going all over the place with your Daddy, Brother and me, we are very lucky you love to just get up and go!! We love you so much and can't believe you are 3 months old already!!
