Happy Easter!

We had such a great Easter this year! We got to celebrate it with both my parents and Brian's parents, which was extra special, since usually we are away for the baseball season and by ourselves! This was Brooke's first Easter, and Austin's first real "egg hunt!" Austin did great at our neighborhood egg hunt and even found one of the four $5 eggs! Both the kids loved dyeing eater eggs this year, we even let Brookie do a few herself!! Brooke's eggs ended up a little cracked (she basically through them into the cup!) and her hand got dyed orange a little, but it was fun watching her figure it all out!

We got to go to a big egg hunt in our neighborhood, and it was so gorgeous outside it was perfect! Both grandparents cheered Austin on as he searched for his eggs, then we played at the park before going back to our house for a yummy Easter brunch and a mini egg hunt in our backyard (Austin couldn't get enough of finding the eggs!) It was such a great day, we had so much fun and we were so lucky to be able to spend it with our families!

At the egg hunt...Austin couldn't keep his eyes off the eggs and didn't want to wait for the announcer to say "GO!" He kept running ahead trying to get all the eggs before everyone else!
