We pretty much lived outdoors this summer in Japan. The city we lived in has so much to do outside...the parks, the beach, the boardwalk, great places to go for long walks and to let Austin ride his bike along the water...we took advantage of every nice day and went out exploring! On the beach was one of our favorite hangouts, called the Big Banana. We loved going there, they played good music, offered good food and ice cream, had toy cars for the kids to ride on, and was right on the beach too so the kids could play in the sand!! We would even go there at night to watch the sunsets and get dinner, it was awesome eating outdoors on a warm summer night, right on the water, letting the kids play in the sand under the stars! And pretty much every day, you could count on us going for a long walk with our friends, The Houlton's, our way of getting our daily exercise!

MAY:

AUGUST:

This dolphin statue was near the school by our apartment...at the end of every walk we want on every day, Austin had to high five it and say "what's up dolphin!" He seriously did this every day!
By the end of the summer, Austin was able to ride his bike on our long walks!! He would do so good, but sometimes, he couldn't make the whole walk and I would have to carry his bike as I pushed the double stroller back, but it was good exercise, right?!!
OCTOBER:
Leaves are starting to fall!

Holy moly....those are some great pictures! Hope all is well. PS i saw that lossy in the sky blog in going private. I read it all the time.... I am so sad......
