Christmas with the Falkys...

We celebrated Christmas a little early this year! Brian's parents are going up to Washington for the holidays, so we all got together at our house before they left and had an early Christmas! Brooke loved opening her "first" Christmas presents, and Austin loved helping her!! It was a lot of fun seeing the kids get so excited over their presents from Grandma and Papa, thank you so much!!

Brooke's first Christmas tree...she's not quite sure what to make of it!

Happy first Christmas Brookie!

She was a big fan of the tulle on her tutu!

All dressed up for Christmas!

It's not so easy crawling around in this fluff mom!

Grandma and Brookie!

This was the best we could get of the two of them, Brooke wasn't into taking a picture with her brother this time around!

Christmas with Papa and Grandma!

Merry Christmas 2009!

This is for me?!!

Brooke loved her doll from Grandma and Papa!

And she loved being able to open her presents finally! (The past few days she has been crawling over to the tree and trying to rip open the presents, we kept telling her "no-no Brookie!" so she was shocked when she was finally allowed too!)

Austin's first real movie! Grandma and Papa got him the movie "Cars" and he loves it!!

Austin was our big helper handing out presents to everyone!

And Brooke loved helping open them!

Austin's favorite present by far, his new "plasma car" from Grandma and Papa! This is the coolest riding machine!!

In loving memory...

Brian's parents had to put their 13 year old Bouvier "Gus" down the other day. I can't even imagine how hard that was, but he lived a really long and happy life...we are all really going to miss him, he was such a loving dog.

Austin, Brooke, Gus and Grandma Jane!

The kids are going to miss playing with Gus at Grandma and Papa's house.

Austin and his buddy Gus taking a nap together!

Austin loved playing with Gus, and Gus was so good with him.

Giving some love to Gus!

We are especially going to miss playing the piano for Gus, he loved hearing the music! He would howl/bark when you played the keys and his head would turn in the cutest directions! He would stand their waiting for someone to play for him, and Austin always loved doing it!

They could have made a band together!

You were a great dog Gus...

We are really going to miss you!

Body Pillow...

Brooke was caught taking a snooze on her daddy a few days ago...isn't that just the cutest?!
Brian trying his hardest not to move an inch so he wouldn't wake her!

She is such the couch potato here, showing off her beer belly and all!

Snow?!

Austin sure got a real treat yesterday! Our neighborhood brought in a ton of snow and put it at our park so all the kids could go sledding and play in it! What a great idea!! It actually wasn't that much, but it was really cool seeing it surrounded by all the desert scenery and seeing all the kids have a blast playing in it! We got the kids all dressed up in their cold weather gear (Austin got to wear his Daddy's snow suit from when he was little, it was too cute on him!) and we had a great time in the snow! It was even pretty "cold" out for us Arizona peeps, so it made it all that more fitting! (It was a brisk 56 degrees, brr! lol!)

Hurry Mom and Dad, let's go see the snow!

You call this snow?!

Having a blast!

Oops...we took a few spills...guess we need to get some snow boots for those rare occasions we actually get to play in the snow!

Brookie and Brian watching all the fun!

Watching all the sledders! Austin didn't go sledding...he was more into playing in the stuff!

It's in his blood...taking a break from the snow and heading to the ball field...the kid wants nothing more than to run the bases!

Brrr!!! Keeping warm by snuggling :)

Brookie wondering what all the fuss is about!

Not so sure why she is sitting in the dirt when there is all that fun snow to play in!

What a fun day!!!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...

...and Brookie's beginning to look a lot like rudolph!!!
She's trying to decide if she's going to be naughty or nice...
