Our little girl turned 2 on April 21st (we are still trying to figure out how 2 years have flown by so fast!), and a few days later on Easter Weekend, we threw her a birthday BBQ at our house with our good friends and family! I spent a good week making a bazillion pink tissue flowers to hang all over the house for the occasion, in fact they overtook the place!! Brooke loved them though and would point and say "MY FLOWERS!!" every morning! It was such a fun night, I only wish Brian could have been there to see his little girl celebrate her big day (we are counting down the days we get to go be with him in Japan!!). The kids had so much fun, they had a pinata, an easter egg hunt in the yard, they played and played and ate entirely way too much sugar!! It was fun watching them all run around!! Thank you everyone for making Brooke's 2nd birthday so special!!

Poor Brooke had a little too many helpers when it came time to opening her presents...all she wanted was to open them herself, but that wasn't going to happen if her big brother had anything to do with it!! He INSISTED on opening them all with her/for her!!!
