Back on December 21st, our first child, Hunter, had his 8th birthday!! It really seems just like yesterday that he was a puppy, traveling all over the place with us!! We got Hunter right after Brian and I got engaged, and he has been the best (albeit crazy) dog, a trooper indeed. Until Brian started playing baseball in Japan, Hunter went everywhere with us, and I mean everywhere!! He never missed a cross country road trip traveling to the new city Brian was playing in. He has been on more road trips and lived in more cities than I can count! These days he spends half the year with us, and the other half with his grandparents in Washington, who so dearly watch him for us while we are away in Japan! We miss him tremendously while we are away, but are so thankful they are able to take such great care of him!!
Hunter is the craziest, most loving, hyper dog you will ever meet, even at the ripe old age of 8, he still acts like a puppy!!! Sure he has his vices...barking, jumping on people, stealing food and napkins from the counter, etc...but he is so good with Austin and Brooke (even though you would think he would be quite jealous of them since they stole all of his thunder!!)...we can't imagine not having him. He will sure hold the bar high for any future dogs we have!! Happy Birthday Hunter, can't believe you are 8 old man!!! :)
