Austin's First Birthday Party!

Austin's first birthday isn't officially until Sunday May 25, but we went ahead and celebrated a few days early while Brian and his team are playing up in Washington. Brian had a rare day game, so we took advantage of his evening off and had a fun party for Austin with our friends and family! It couldn't have worked out more perfectly!! Austin's cousins, Tyler and Quin, hosted his first birthday over at their house, and we couldn't be more thankful for the wonderful job they did!! Austin also wants to thank his Aunt Kirsten and Uncle Gary for letting us make a mess of their house! :)

Yumm!! A whole cake just for me!!

Austin was actually very well mannered while eating his birthday cake!! No fists full of icing, no face plants in the cake!! I think the sea of paparazzi (aka: friends and family!) snapping photos of him and singing Happy Birthday sort of overwhelmed him :) He wasn't quite sure what to do with the cake :) He did manage to get a lick of icing here and there :)
